Andrea Osterkorn's family and friends can tell you that she was missing her calling by not going in to interior redesign a long time ago.   “We still laugh at my audacity one year when visiting a girlfriend who had just purchased a beautiful new home on the water.  We were with other visiting friends whom I took shopping one day, then asked them to stay in on a Saturday night to help totally redesign my friend's new home.  We used a few purchased items and her existing belongings so that her living space would function better for her and look absolutely beautiful.  Of course, this was before I even knew that there was such a profession as redesign!  Everyone had such a great time and my friend was thrilled with the results.  Many great leaders have said to follow your passion, and what a thrilling passion this profession is for me!"

Andrea knows better than most the everyday challenges of juggling family, home, career, and outside activities.  Having worked in the corporate world in the fields of finance and human resources for over 20 years, she recognizes that your surroundings are a reflection of who you are and the success you have achieved.  She also understands that sometimes, your home's appearance can suffer as you jockey for time in an already jam packed day.  “I started this business because I thought, how wonderful it would have been to have someone reliable, someone I could trust, come in one morning when I left for work and by the time I came back, had taken care of all those little nagging nuances of my home that I knew I would never have the extra time to do.” 

Andrea is both Staging and Redesign certified by the Society of Decorating Professionals as well as a Certified Interior Staging Specialist with the Interior Redesign Industry Specialists.    Andrea's work and expertise has been featured in print through the Chicago Tribune (October 2006), the Liberty Suburban Chicago News (May 2007) and Glancer Magazine (March 2008).  Her talents have also been captured on film through Discover Card's DiscoverEDGE online newsletter (March 2008) and at www.expertrealestatetips.net.  She is the owner of www.StagerOnline.com an online staging review business as well.
